Role
To be part of a small and focused design team developing high performance race car electric powertrain control systems as well as related systems in aerospace and defence applications.
Able to act as lead engineer on designated projects with performance, time and budget responsibility. Able to manage effectively a small team and maintain high engineering standards.
Develop and maintain C code control software and Simulink/Matlab based EV control systems.
Responsibilities
- Control system specification, design and simulation
- Data analysis and performance reporting
- Automotive V-cycle documentation
- Embedded C and Simulink/Matlab development
- HiL rig development and calibration
- Track, dyno and test support
Experience
- 5+ years automotive or motorsport control systems experience
- Hands-on embedded systems development
- C and Simulink/Matlab expertise
- Code management and release processes
Skills
- Control systems design and simulation
- Software lifecycle development
- Configuration and version management
- Automotive V-cycle development
- Optional: Electronics, HiL, C#, C++, plant modelling
